Eleven Days in Glacier National Park So,  if you are a person who enjoys the outdoors and the beauty of nature,  at some point in your life you have to see Glacier National Park Now before I continue I want to say that normally, when creating a post I try to only post photos that help to tell the story and I refrain from just posting a lot of pretty photos. But here in Glacier, there is so much beauty, it would be wrong not to show as much of it as possible. During our 11 days here we hiked a lot and everywhere we turned was another beautiful view Water falls and wild flowers Wide open, "spectacular" views.... we found ourselves using the word "spectacular" often. In Glacier they have a shuttle system that runs from the east entrance up and over  Going to the Sun Road all the way  to the west entrance.  So one morning we got up before the sun and caught the first shuttle for the hour long ride to the top of...

Coeur d' Alene Idaho Stopped off in Post Falls Idaho so we could visit Coeur d' Alene Idaho and Spokane Washington. Since we haven't seen a Cracker Barrel Colorado,.. well we just had to stop in for breakfast. It being August 20, it was good to see that the Christmas tree was up and we could buy our Christmas decorations. We wouldn't want to wait until it is too late..... like in November. Coeur d' Alene Idaho is one of those beautiful areas of the country with super friendly locals. I would put it on our list of possible places to settle down when we are finished traveling but as we travel we find more beautiful places with a great quality of life. The downtown area if charming with it's shops, the marina and parks. The lake is 25 miles long with float planes taking off and landing regularly and the hiking and outdoor activities in the area are endless.
